Royal Icing
Ingredients:
- Egg White (depends on how much the icing you want to make)
- Cream of Tar Tar (every 1 egg white equals to 1 teaspoon of cream of tar tar)
- Icing sugar (a.k.a powdered sugar)
- Flavour (I used fresh squeezed lemon juice)
- Food Colouring (Gel / Liquid)
Methods:
- Beat the egg white (until bubbly. Don't over beat here)
- Add cream of tar tar, continue beating.
- Add icing sugar (Amount of icing sugar also depends on how thicken you want your final icing looked like or how smooth the flow of your Royal Icing fall over your cake)
- Add flavour. (Advisable: use lemon flavour, as the high acidic content on it. If you want to change to you favourite flavour, just be my guest)
- Add food colouring. (If you are using liquid form, careful with the quantity or it might be spoiled)
Tips:
Make sure you put the food flavouring after the icing sugar.
